LET'S GET READY TO CAMP- 2021 Camping Schedule is complete

Posted by mfasig on Mar 22 2021 - 10:50am

We have completed the 2021 camping schedule and it has been posted to the troop calendar here on the website. Because of credits due to the troop from last years cancelled events, you will notice we are spending more time at Great Trail Council camps than we normally would. We also are using a little more cabins than usual as well. Also note that we extended the June and August camp outs. June is a 3 night camp out at Chickagami and East Harbor in August is 4 nights back at the group camp site. We will also be tying some merit badges into some of the camp outs as well, so stay tuned.

Summer Camp

Posted by mfasig on Jan 29 2021 - 10:40am

Buckeye Council is beginning preparations for Summer Camp 2021. The scout fee is $330 for the week. There is a $50 early bird discount for all scouts that pay $200 by February 15th. So sign up with Mr. Pinard and myself before the 15th to get the discount. You can still register after the 15th but it will cost you the full $330.

Camping Is Back

Posted by mfasig on Jan 29 2021 - 10:34am

We have scheduled our first camp outs for 2021. As requested, our first camp out will be the "Christmas Camp Out Revisited". We have rented Eagle Lodge (next to the Training Lodge) on February 26-28 for the scouts to bring their tv's and video games since the original event in December had to be cancelled. The cabin has 4 separate sleeping rooms with a kitchen, central living room and 2 bathrooms with showers. Let the boys know that the first order of business on the camp out will be to discuss plans for the rest of the year.

Thank you!
