Summer Camp Update

Posted by mfasig on May 2 2020 - 12:31pm

This week the Buckeye Council cancelled the first 2 weeks of Summer Camp at 7 Ranges, Week 3 starting June 28th is now scheduled to be the start of Summer Camp. The council is continuing to evaluate the situation and make adjustments for safety reasons. At this point, they have suspended Merit Badge registrations while they evaluate how to present each one within the social distancing guidelines. While Buckeye Council has not published other changes, Great Trail Council has and I believe (because all of the Ohio Councils are working together and have agreed to do the same things) that those same changes will occur at 7Ranges. Below are a list of changes Great Trail has anounced:

Summer Camp Foot Locker Sale

Saw this online and know from experience these are a must have for Summer Camp.  Hopefully summer camp is a GO in a few months.  These fit below the cots in the tents and it keeps your gear dry and bug free.  This is a must have for those new Scouts going to summer camp.
