TROOP 382 HONOR PAGE
               JASON GENNEL BEST PATROL LEADER!
Our accomplishments at the last Old Portage Klondike were outstanding. We won the overall Best
Troop award, the best Patrol and the best Patrol leader award. One might say it could have all been
expected because of the quality leadership in the Troop and they would be right. However Jason is an
example of just how great our boys really are. We can be proud of our guys. They set out to
accomplish a goal and succeeded. They have set an example for the other scouts, other Troops  and
have carried on what is now a t382 radition, Klondike Champions! Great job Jason!
JAMES GEHRING HONOR ROLL!
COPLEY BOYS MAKE IT THREE TITLES IN A ROW!
I'd like to recognize an inactive member  of our Troop (once a 382 scout always a 382 scout)for an
action of extreme significance. On October 1st Steve Pyatt was serving as the paramedic on duty at the
Copley/Green football game.  Im sure this is an enjoyable job since Steve was at one time a player for
Copley. Although Steve has a great deal of fond memories of this field Im sure he couldn't imagine that
his most significant memory would be one having little to do with football.
9/21/2004 The following scouts have recently finnished Citizenship in the  World Merit badge.

KEEPING UP WITH OUR BOYS MANYACCOMPLISHMENTS!
Around the end of the second quarter a call came accross his
radio requesting assistance with a Green fan whom had
colapsed along the fence near the visitors side. Steve of
course emiediatly rushed to the scene and found a man on the
ground, not breathing and in full cardiac arrest. With training
fresh in his mind Steve took action and was able to revive the
man. Steve may say its just part of what paramedics do, but
we all know that nothing can lessen the significance of
thinking clear and taking appropriate action to resue someone.
Im proud of Steve. The people of Copley can rest a little
easier knowing that one of thier own is in service to the
community. Great Job!
Oct 17   Congradulations to Jason Grennel and Randy Street for winning Copley's third straight
Boys Suburban League cross country title!  Jason is Troop 382's Senior Patrol Leader and
Randy is his Assistant.
A Scout can have many accomplishments, however none can have as much meaning as Academic
excelance. James Gehring has achieved just such an goal. We are very proud of James and wish him
the best in keeping his grades at such a lofty level. I think his mom has put it best!

James has been working very hard at school. His first grading period was wonderfull! He made
Honor Roll with all A's and one B+! He has also been busy as a Scout. He is a Den Chief for Mr.
Evankovich's Bear Scout Den. We've received good reports and compliments from Mr. & Mrs E.
We're very proud of James and know that his futire is Bright!

                    GREAT WORK JAMES!
